An additional UI protocol called Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), commonly referred to as “quick codes” or “feature codes,” enables users to access hidden functionality. Users can interact directly with the computers of their service provider and/or use their device’s back-end functionality by using USSD codes. They can be accessed by entering them into the phone dialer and often have a number between each * or # and at the beginning and end.
Each carrier and phone model has a different USSD. The most popular USSD available on most Android phones is listed below.
1. General Test mode: *#0*#
This opens a menu of various phone functions that may be accessed with a single push, such as sleep, front camera, and vibration.

This code allows you to check which number your phone is currently forwarding calls to when you’re busy or reject a call.
6. Hide Caller ID: *31#
Perhaps a call from an unknown number reached you. The caller’s ID may have been accidentally obscured or hidden on purpose. Dial *31# and press the call button to hide the caller ID.
7. To reveal caller ID: #31#
If you had hidden the caller ID while making a call or you realize your caller ID is hidden, all you need to do is dial #31# and press the call button
